I decided that it was high time I invest some money into a spot cleaner (especially after my little dog decided to vomit onto our brand new carpet).
I have very little experience with spot cleaners. My sister Cindy has one that I used a few times, but it was kind of a gross item to work with. It has a residue problem where it holds a fair amount of gunk inside of it.
This one that I purchased has a neat little feature called 'self cleaning', and it is beautiful. After I'm done using it, I flush all the gross ick out from it as many times as I see fit, and then set it out to dry. It's such a nice little thing.
Last night I decided to take it out for its first big job and cleaned out the interior of my husbands truck. Connor loves to go fishing, hunting, and camping. This was a very dirty interior.
I first cleared all the trash out from it and vacuumed as thoroughly as I possibly could, then I brought out little Spot (I think that's what I'll name it).
It may not look like much, but it is way more than I was able to pick up with the regular vacuum hose. I might have been able to do an even better job, but it was 9pm when I finished and things were becoming a little difficult to see.
I wish I could include before and after pictures of the truck, but the thought never occurred to me. Connor is currently on his way to the hunting club to go fishing, so I'm not even sure if it will return as pristine as I had cleaned it to be.
