Away to Arizona

I visited Arizona for my sisters wedding these past several days.

I flew in on Delta airlines, which I'm guessing is a SUPER posh airline considering that it has its very own separate section in the entire Atlanta Airport causing Connor and I to have to drive by twice to find it. And to be truthful, it was a very pleasant flight. I usually only ever fly Southwest airlines because they are the most accommodating for my little dog, and they don't charge for your luggage.

Each seat had its own touch screen monitor on the headrest in front of it, and I had complete free access to a huge selection of movies, television shows, games, and even a flight tracker.
WHERE HAS THIS BEEN MY ENTIRE LIFE?

I flew back on American Airlines. I don't know if it was a crummy airline or just a bad day, but it was not a very smooth process. I'll give it the benefit that it shared the same features that Delta offered as far as the free entertainment goes, and that I had a connecting flight (which is always a miserable process).
My first flight was delayed by 20 minutes, which resulted in me only having 10 minutes before my connecting flight was due to take off. Luckily it seemed that my connecting flight was delayed by 10 minutes anyway, so even though I sprinted across the Houston Airport, I was fine (what does a heart attack feel like? I am so out of shape). Once on the plane, we sat unmoving for a good half hour. And it was announced midflight that we were going to have a delayed landing because there was still a plane in the spot we were supposed to land in. The day felt very messy.

Moving on and away from flights, my sister got married.
My favorite picture of Cindy and I after the ceremony was over. She was hot and tired and didn't want to stand up for a photo, so I joined her on the couch.
She had a respectably small wedding ceremony filled with good friends and family members. I snuck back in to where she was waiting before the ceremony to see her. I wasn't expecting it, but the second I saw her I was struck by the reality of everything and how beautiful she looked and began crying. I'm such a sucker for weddings.

I took several small video clips throughout the wedding hoping to weed out the one perfect clip. Pictures are nice, but sometimes the memories stay a bit fresher with the help of a video. I had one nice clip of Cindy and Rick cutting the cake, but the lighting was TERRIBLE. So I fiddled around with the settings and added in some music. I'm very proud of how well it turned out. Watching the finished product nearly brought me to tears again, so I knew I did it right.
